In the fourth quarter of 2022, Slovakia's social networking app landscape saw varied performance among the top five applications, as highlighted by Sensor Tower's data.

WhatsApp Messenger experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $33 in mid-December. Weekly downloads showed notable fluctuations, with a significant spike to around 14.9K in the final week of December. Active users also saw an upward trend, growing from about 1.18M at the start of the quarter to roughly 1.24M by the end.

BeReal: Photos & Friends Daily had no recorded revenue during this period. Weekly downloads experienced a decline from around 10K at the start to just over 3.2K by the end of December. Despite this, active users increased from 60.2K to 77.2K, showing growing user engagement.

Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. saw varying weekly revenue, starting at $217 and ending the quarter at $140. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at approximately 16K in the final week of December. Active users also showed variability, increasing from about 976.6K to over 1M by the end of the quarter.

Facebook also from Meta Platforms, Inc. saw a decline in weekly revenue, from $1.1K to $656. Weekly downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 10K in the last week of December. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 2M throughout the quarter with a slight peak in mid-December.

Telegram Messenger reported a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $451 in the last week of December. Downloads fluctuated but remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end, reaching approximately 4.4K. Active users showed small fluctuations, ending the quarter with around 125K users.
